CORE STRENGTH VINYASA YOGA

  • When: Sundays 7:00pm – 8:00pm

  • Where: SevenWellness Studio Al Reem Island Marina Bay 1 tower.

Yoga hasn’t come easy for Sasha Quince, in fact for years she struggled with flexibility & strength. She found Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga at a time she was experiencing profound muscle weakness and spinal instability, in fact she wasn’t sure she would be able to practice Yoga anymore. She found a practice that made sense anatomically, served her body and bone structure the best and was unique. 

This revolutionized style of Yoga deeply rooted in anatomical research and crafted to move the body more fluid and free tight spaces have saved Sasha’s spinal health in many ways. She is grateful to the founder Sadie Nardini who created this style from years of profound anatomical research & practice.

PRENATAL YOGA

  • When: Tuesday 7:00 - 8:00pm and Saturdays 10:30 - 11:30am

  • Where: NMC Royal Women’s Hospital Abu Dhabi, Muroor Road, near Jazira Club.

Our Pre-Natal Yoga course is designed to be a safe and gentle class that allows mommy’s and mommy’s-to-be to receive the benefits of Yoga during pregnancy and after your baby’s birth. This class, often recommended by obstetricians and midwives, includes a combination of balancing, strengthening and stretching poses that are specifically designed for the journey of pregnancy. Linking yoga postures with breathing exercises will lead you to new discoveries, bring awareness to the mind, body, and spirit and most importantly allow you to connect with your baby.           

The class incorporates meditation and relaxation techniques designed to relieve the physical and emotional discomforts that commonly occur throughout and after a pregnancy. In addition to aiding the preservation of muscular strength, this class also introduces practices that strengthen the uterus and pelvic floor, improve circulation, aid the digestion system, exercise the spine, and improve overall physical comfort. 

 

KIDS YOGA

Kids Yoga classes combine Yoga with play. To maintain interest and to keep them entertained we use a method called mindful movement with the kids.  This involves them in striking poses that mimic natural things such as sea and land animals, plants, and weather.  We also encourage activity through other means such as active games, story telling, imagery, and share circles. Parents find the stretching and visualization games that we perform with the kids particularly beneficial. 

These practices have kids sit and focus on channeling energy through different parts of their bodies; it also tends to have the parent-pleasing effective of calming young minds and bodies. Alternatively, parents of children that tend to be quiet and introverted have reported that their young ones become more interactive and alert after kid’s yoga sessions.

The Kids Yoga class gives young-ones the opportunity to build strength, flexibility, body awareness, self-confidence, coordination, express creativity and work in non-competitive teams. This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce the benefits of fitness to children in a safe, enjoyable, playful format.

Private Yoga - HATHA YOGA

Hatha is deeply rooted style of Yoga practiced by many people across the world. It links asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing practices) which help bring peace to the mind and body. 

Hatha is a great style of to be introduced to Yoga as a beginner, the movements are more mindful and focused on building strength, muscle tone and gaining flexibility. The poses are held for longer and the breath is highly encouraged.  Let's Go Yoga offers Hatha Yoga to private classes, corporate classes in the comfort of their own space with our lead yoga instructors qualified in this style of teaching. Our instructors are highly qualified and specialized in their fields of private and corporate sessions.
